A nyaralásunk nem lesz egy hagyományos értelemben vett pihenés, de ugye, nem is ezért megyünk. Szkeptikusoknak üzenem, hogy Lloret-ben a tengerparton egész nap alszunk majd, hátha az segít kiheverni az éjszakákat.

Don Juan:
The Don Juan Hotel is 300 metres from Lloret beach and 500 metres from Fenals beach and 300 metres from the centre of the resort. Lloret de Mar has nice beaches, clear waters and idyllic creeks. The EEC gave these beaches the blue flag, their award for quality. Lloret also offers a good choice of entertainment including: aquatic parks, golf clubs, casino, harbour, restaurants and shops. At night, it is one of the liveliest towns in the Costa Brava, with many discos and bars. Lloret is approximately 20 miles from Gerona and 60 miles from Barcelona.
Right Choice
This Hotel will appeal to families and younger couples and groups and is a favourite with UK guests for holidays on the Costa Brava.
Location and Resort
The hotel is close to the beach and bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife. It has 870 rooms with balconies. It offers a huge range of facilities and activities for guests. Guests on the all inclusive option can enjoy the heated indoor pool from 8.30am until 7pm daily, live music everyday between 3pm and 5pm and 9pm until Midnight, 50 percent reduction in tennis court.
Swimming Pools
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, an indoor heated swimming pool (November-May), and a children`s pool.
Eating and Drinking
There are three restaurants, 4 bars, and 2 pool bars. The hotel operates an All Inclusive option which includes bar from 10am until 11pm including water, juice, coffee, refreshments, infusions, national spirit drinks, chips and olives, buffet restaurant with wine, water and refreshments included, thematic buffet dinners - Latin on a Tuesday and Catalan on a Friday.

This was a perfectly adequate and very very cheap hotel. I stayed in it in November 2001 when it was around £14 per night for a room with three beds - although I had asked for a double room, I always find that in Spain they give you separate beds. Maybe I'm not asking the right questions! It is very central - just off Las Ramblas on the Barri Gotic side. It's a nice enough square, with an ok but touristy restaurant below it. The room was clean, with our own bathroom, although it was very easy to flood the bathroom with the shower - which my partner managed every day! However, the real problem he suffered was the crusties who inhabited the Placa Reial in the evenings. Basically, people with whistles and drums decide to play loudly outside your room all night - that's where that whole Spanish evenings start late thing is really annoying. At least I learnt the Castilian for "ear plugs" - but he found it quite difficult. If you are a light sleeper (unlike me!) I would think twice about this place. But otherwise, it was great, and is certainly a good budget option.
